WW2 German Luftwaffe Aircraft – SPENT CASING CATCHER – MG15 – Fw189 He111 RARE!

Out of stock

You are bidding on a VERY RARE example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe MG15 Spent Shell Catcher, as used on various German Bomber and Destroyer aircraft!  This type was also used on the Ju87, Ju88, Ju52, Fw189, and others!

This later style of spent casing catcher was manufactured around 1943-1945, and was used until the end of the war.

Made of rubber and steel, this item is in SUPERB used condition!  The rubber is still very soft, and all steel fittings are functional, with minimal corrosion.  Zipper moves freely, but is a bit stiff.  No major damage!  Upper section features a prominent part number, indicating, Fl. 45717…as well as a manufacture code/date of 1942 and BA Inspection stamp.  Zipper is made by Rapid.  One of the NICEST I have seen of its type, I have indicated it’s location in the last photos.  Would be a PERFECT item to restore or simply for display!

Please email me if you need additional photos or information.

——————- TERMS OF SALE —————–

Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. All sales are final, so please make sure your questions are answered to your satisfaction before you purchase.

——————- ABOUT ME —————–

Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
