Description
This instrument measured the altitude of the aircraft using the surrounding air pressure. It was located on the main instrument panel of many early and late-war German aircraft.
Made of dark brown bakelite, this is an AMAZING used example, dating earlier in the war. The FL. number is clearly marked on the face, indicating Fl. 22322, however, the data label on the reverse has faded away over time. There are some light marks and scratches, but nothing that takes away from the overall appearance. Not responding to air pressure, so it may need an overhaul for airworthy function. I have indicated it’s location in the last photos. A PERFECT item for any collection, display, or restoration project!
