You are bidding on a VERY NICE used example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe 0-450 km/hr. Fahrtmesser (Airspeed Indicator), Fl. 22233, as used in the Ju-52, He-111, Do-17, Fi-156, and other German bomber and transport aircraft!
This instrument measured the current airspeed. It was located on the main instrument panel of the aircraft.
Made of bakelite and aluminum, this is in EXCELLENT condition! Dating around 1944, the Fl. number is clearly legible on the dial, indicating Fl. 22233. Data label is missing, however. There are some light marks and wear due to the age, but otherwise quite solid. Paint missing from the needle, but that can b rectified by the winning bidder. Would make a PERFECT addition to any collection, display, or restoration project!
