You are bidding on a SUPERB example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe Antennenanpaßungsgerät 16 (AAG16) Ln. 27185 Radio Antenna Unit, as used in conjunction with the FuG16 and FuG 16 Z Aircraft Radio System!  This system was used on many mid-war Fighters and Bombers such as the Me109, Fw190, Me110, Ju88 Me262, Me-163, He162 and others!






The AAG16a connected directly to the SE16 radio Sending Unit.  Both were part of the main FuG16 Radio System, which allowed for air-to-air communication, as well as air-to-ground.
 

Made of aluminum, steel, and bakelite, this mid-war AAG16 is in EXCELLENT used condition! It is 100% COMPLETE, with no damage internally. The cover is original and retains much of its original paint! Some slight marks and dents due to the age, but otherwise PERFECT!  Located in either the upper fuselage (Cable Antenna) or wing (Morane Antenna), I have indicated it’s location in the last photos.  A VERY RARE and FANTASTIC addition to any collection, display, or restoration project!
