You are bidding on a VERY NICE example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe 20mm MG151/20 Hintere Lagerung Vollständig (Rear Gondola Mount), 209.952-008, as ONLY used on the Me109 G thru Me109 K series aircraft!
Made of aluminum steel, this MG 151/20 Cannon Rear Gondola Mount is in SUPERB used condition. Though there is some slight pitting, marks, dirt, and wear, it is 100% complete, and still VERY solid! It could EASILY be cleaned up and used again! This unit attached directly to the MG151 for support and stability within the wing gondola. I have shown he EXACT location from the Me109 Handbook, as well as on an Me109 G2 Wing Gondola Panel that I used to own. An AMAZING piece of history for any collection, display, or restoration project!
