Description
This instrument measured the altitude of the aircraft using the surrounding air pressure. It was located on the main instrument panel of many early German aircraft. Made of black bakelite, this is a VERY NICE example. The Fl. label is 100% complete, clearly indicating all information (manufacture, werk. number, etc.), and Fl. 22319 is clearly legible on the face. There are some minor scratches, but nothing that takes away from the overall appearance. Needs to be calibrated…and rear attachment for the air line has broken (easy fix). Does not affect the function. Would make a PERFECT example for any collection or display! |
