WW2 German Kriegsmarine Navy – U-BOAT RADIO ROOM CLOCK – VERY RARE!!

You are bidding on a FANTASTIC example of a WW2 German Kriegsmarine Navy Clock, famously used in the Radio Room of various U-Boats!

Usually mounted in the radio room of the German U-Boat, this clock needs no introduction.  It was made famous throughout the war as the standard German Kriegsmarine Uboat Radio Room Clock.

Made of brass, aluminum, bakelite, wood, and steel, this Junghans U-Boat clock is SUPERB used condition!  Though there are some slight marks to the face, and some wear, it is in EXCELLENT functioning condition!   Sadly, someone has covered up the original KM Adler with a plate that says “Junghans”…but I sure that could be removed.  In addition, many of these dials show up on ebay.  Some slight loss to the paint on the hands and dial.  This is an 8-day clock and features the J30E movement.  The case itself is 96mm in diameter, and the wood base (which are almost ALWAYS missing) is the original to this item.  Like most clocks of this type, there are some cracks and breaks in the bakelite.  Comes mounted in a wood base, that incorrectly states this as being a Luftwaffe Clock.  I have shown its location on U-995 in the last photo.  Would make a FANTASTIC addition to any collection or display!!

——————- ABOUT ME —————–

Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
