You are bidding on a SUPERB and 100% original WW2 German KREIGSMARINE K98 Leather Ammunition Pouch! This was issued to all personnel who utilized the weapon throughout the war.
The Karabiner 98 Kurz (often abbreviated Kar98k, K98, or K98k) is a bolt action rifle chambered for the 7.92×57mm Mauser cartridge that was adopted on 21 June 1935 as the standard service rifle by the German Wehrmacht. It was one of the final developments in the long line of Mauser military rifles. Although supplemented by semi- and fully automatic rifles during World War II, it remained the primary German service rifle until the end of the war. Millions were captured by the Soviets at the conclusion of World War II and were widely distributed as military aid. The Karabiner 98k therefore continues to appear in conflicts across the world as they are taken out of storage during times of strife.
Made of leather with aluminum & steel fittings, this K98 Ammo Pouch is in VERY NICE used condition! There are some slight marks and wear, but nothing that detracts. All fittings and studs are in place, and none of the leather has any major cracks or damaged! Based on the belt loop design, these would date mid-war. The internal dividers are also still present (usually these are missing). Features a faint Kriegsmarine Adler over “M” on the reverse! Would be a PERFECT addition to any collection or simply for display!

——————- ABOUT ME —————–
Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
