WW2 German Kriegsmarine – AWARD / PRESENTATION SHIELD – BRANDENBURG? – NICE

You are bidding on a SUPERB example of a WW2 German Kriegsmarine Presentation Shield! Though I am not sure of the logo, this type of shield would have been presented to commemorate special accomplishments or services.

 Made of a carved wood that has been painted, this is an AMAZING one-of-a-kind item! Not sure of the emblem, but this would have most likely been presented to graduates of the Navy Officer Training Program. It has some minor marks, scratches, wear, but is in otherwise EXCELLENT condition for it’s age. Colors are VERY vibrant! No manufacture stamps present, but these were usually made by Gustav Becker, Wilhelmshaven.  Approx. 6″ x 7″ in size, it would make a PERFECT item for any collection or display!
