Description
This is a SUPERB and EXCEEDINGLY RARE example of a 100% INERT WW2 German Kriegsmarine 20mm FlaK HE Round, as used ONLY by Germany’s famous Madsen i. Sockellaf. M40!!
The 20×119 mm Madsen Flak Gun i.Sockellaf.M40 was a Danish Weapon, manufactured before the war by Denmark, Switzerland and Finland…and during the war for Germany by Kynoch. It is easily recognized and distinguished from the standard 20mm FlaK cartridges, by having a shorter length, and slightly larger width. Captured Danish examples were used by both the Luftwaffe and Kriegsmarine (radar stations and coastal batteries).

Made of solid steel, this is a FANTASTIC piece of history! Completely inert, there are some very slight wear and marks, however it remains VERY SOLID with much of the original paint and finish! The markings are still VERY strong on the outside of the casing, with various marking throughout. The KM Inspection stamp is also quite clear! The only one I have ever seen of it’s type, it would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display!
