You are bidding on a SUPERB example of:

“Jagdfliegerverbände der Deutschen Luftwaffe 1934-1945”

Bd. 06/I

By authors:

Jochen Prien – Gerhard Stemmer – Peter Rodeike – Wimfried Bock

In contrast to earlier published unit-histories, books from this volume set are considered reference books which also dempstrate the development of the aircraft types shown.  Only fighter units are discussed, and not Destroyer or Nighfighter units.  This  volume covers:

Unternehmen “Barbarossa” – Einsatz im Osten 22.6.- 5.12.41 (Operation Barbarossa – action in the East 22.6. – 5.12.41)

A.) a view over the actions of the Jagdwaffe in operatian “Barbarossa”

A.1.) a view over the development of warfare on the Eastern Front

A.2.) actions of the Jagdwaffe in the east in 1941

A.3.) organisation of the Jagdwaffe in the eastA.4.) the fighters of the LW after the invasion of Russia (till dec. 41)

A.4.1.) subtipes and technical changes

A.4.2.) Comouflage and MarkingsB.) description of the individual units (shown as in the previous volumes of this series)

Made of heavy paper and published in 2003, this is an AMAZING reference book.  A total of 352 pages, though the text is in German, it make for an EXCELLENT reference nonetheless.  It covers units, fighters, victory totals, unit losses, and NUMEROUS other pertinent information.  Also features some previously unpublished photos.  As it is slightly used condition, there are some slight marks wear due to the age, but NO major damage!  The previous owner also appears to have added and made notations, based on the updates and corrections provided by the authors on the 12 o’clock High Forum.

Note that apart from the first image in this auction, the proceeding 11 photos are only examples of what each volume covers, and not neccessarily images from this exact volume.  Would make a FANTASTIC addition to any collection or display!

Please email me if you need additional photos or information.

All sales are final, so please make sure your questions are answered to your satisfaction before you purchase.

——————- ABOUT ME —————–

Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
