You are bidding on a SUPERB example of WW2 German Kugelzeilfernrohr 2 (K.Z.F. 2) Scope / Gunsight, as ONLY used in tanks and armoured vehicles! This 1.8 x 18° sight was specifically used in the Panzer II Flammwerfer, and all variants of the Panzer III, IV, V (Panther), and VI/VIB (Tiger/King Tiger)!
Installed as the bow machine gun scope in most German tanks, the K.Z.F. 2 telescoping gunsight has a 1.8 power magnification with an 18 degree field of view.
Made of aluminum and steel, this aiming scope was manufactured between 1939 and 1942. Recovered after the war, it retains 98% of its original paint and finish with NO corrosion or damage! The manufacture code and data information is stamped into the side, indicating:
K.Z.F. 2 C.P. GOERZ

The optics themselves are very clear, but they are a bit hazy, as you can see in the photos. This is the early version that is painted in Dunkelgrau/Dunkengrun. Comes complete with the original eye cup! I have shown the exact type of gun & mount it was used on in the last photo. A VERY NICE scope that would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display!
Please email me if you need additional photos or information.

——————- ABOUT ME —————–
Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
