Description

You are bidding on a NICE relic example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe Antennenanpaßungsgerät 16 (AAG16 E-3) Ln. 27185- 6 Radio Antenna Cover, as used in conjunction with the FuG16, FuG 16 Z, and FuG16 ZY Radio System!  This system was used on many late-war Fighters and bombers such as the Me109, Fw190, Ju88 Me262, Me-163, He162 and others!

The AAG16a connected directly to the SE16 radio Sending Unit.  Both were part of the main FuG16ZY Radio System, which allowed for air-to-air communication, as well as air-to-ground.

Made of aluminum, this AAG16 cover is in VERY GOOD relic condition!  90% of the original paint remains, however this is some slight wear, marks, and dents, due to the age.  I have indicated it’s location in the last photos.  A  VERY RARE and FANTASTIC addition to any collection, display, or restoration project!

Please email me if you need additional photos or information.

——————- TERMS OF SALE —————–

Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. I will describe each auction to the best of my knowledge and take as many photos necessary to ensure you are pleased upon receiving your item. All sales are final, so please make sure your questions are answered to your satisfaction before you purchase.

——————- ABOUT ME —————–

Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft. If you are looking for anything specific and cannot locate it, feel free to contact me as I probably have it or at the very least, a contact who does!
