You are bidding on a SUPERB used example of WW2 (possibly WW1) Monocular Spotting Scope! Apart from a serial number, there are NO markings on this whatsoever, so it could be German, British or American. Comparing to my other optics, it appears to be at least 15-20x magnification.
Made by brass and aluminum, this military spotting scope is in VERY NICE used condition! As mentioned, I am not sure of the nationality, but I would guess WW1 for sure. Appears to be around 15-20x magnification, as it is quite a bit stronger than the 10×50 optics I currently have listed. It is devoid of markings, expect from a part number on the mount. Optics are quite clear, but there is some spotting internally. The spotting shows up quite a bit when not in focus…but when focus completey disappears (see last photo). Focusing is interesting, as it is achieved by a combination of using the focal adjustment (+5/-5), as well as extending the tube lengthwise. Tube extends another 9″ or so at full length. Painted in a military green, they would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display!

——————- ABOUT ME —————–
Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
