Description
Made by Alcoso this Cavalry Officer Sword is in AMAZING used condition! Approx. 100cm long, it features an unsharpened nickel/silver plated steel blade, with only slight marks and wear due to the age. The Alcoso Logo is hard to get a photo of, but it is clearly stamped into the blade. Features a D-pattern knuckle bow and cross guard with a slotted, turned down quillion. Grip shows no wear or cracks, and the twisted wire wrap is fully intact!
Both sides of the blade feature a long frosted gray panel, etched with a Artillery Scenes, Cannons, and Men on one side, and a Unit ID on the other! The side with the Unit ID indicates:

The upper edge of the blade is also etched with a Floral Motif. Comes complete with the original red felt buffer pad. The black metal Scabbard is original to this set and retains approx. 90% original black paint, with a suspension ring. It features a MATCHING unit ID to that of the blade and indicates:
