WW1 German Kaiserliche Marine – COASTAL ARTILLERY – PRESENTATION SHIELD – RARE!

You are bidding on a SUPERB example of a WW1 German Kaiserliche Marine Coastal Artillery Presentation Shield! Though I am not sure of the logo, this type of shield would have been presented to commemorate special accomplishments or services.

 Made of a cast alloy that has been painted, this is an AMAZING one-of-a-kind item!  Not sure of the emblem itself, however, the shooting star and waves generally indicate Coastal Artillery. It has some minor marks, scratches, wear, but is in otherwise EXCELLENT condition for it’s age. Colors are VERY vibrant! No manufacture stamps present, however, there is one circular impression on the reverse, but hard to make out.  These were usually made by Gustav Becker, Wilhelmshaven.  Approx. 6″ x 7″ in size, it would make a PERFECT item for any collection or display!
