Description
This postcard comes from the German series titled Der Krieg 1914/16 in Postkarten, a well-known wartime publication documenting opposing forces, military types, and soldiers of the Great War. Although the subject shown is a French aviator, this card was produced and issued in Germany during the war, reflecting period interest in aviation and enemy personnel during 1914–1916.
