You are bidding on a SUPERB and VERY RARE example of a WW1 German Gewehr 98 Sniper Rifle Scope! This was used by various personnel throughout the war.
Made of solid brass, aluminum, and steel by Oigee, Berlin, this 3x power “LUXOR” Sniper Scope is a TEXTBOOK example! Though it is over 100 years old, there are NO dents or damage and all markings are VERY prominent! The optics are also VERY CLEAR! Overall it has an AMAZING patina throughout, and still retains the original mounts (one mount appears to have been re-attached oat one time)! The data information is still clearly impressed into the side and indicates:
