Description

You are bidding on a GOOD set of WW1 German 8×24 Hensolt Wetzlar “Wacht” Binoculars!  These come in a standard issue 7×50 Binocular Case.

Made by Hensolt Wetzlar of a large tooled alloy and aluminum construction, these 8×24 power binoculars are in decent used condition!  The lens bodies retain about 90% of their original, rough textured, black finish, but they are in need of repair.  One eye cup is missing, and the focus adjustment is stuck.  Some slight chips and wear, but nothing that takes away from the overall appearance.  The optics are hazy and are in need of a cleaning.  The bodies are well marked with all the manufacture information.  Comes complete with a WW1 issue case, however it is not original to this set (this is for a 7×50 binocular).  Missing the closing strap, but still retains the original manufacture markings and Weimar Eagle!  An early example, it would make a great addition to any collection!

——————- TERMS OF SALE —————–

Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. I will describe each auction to the best of my knowledge and take as many photos necessary to ensure you are pleased upon receiving your item. All sales are final, so please make sure your questions are answered to your satisfaction before you purchase.

——————- ABOUT ME —————–

Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
