1) Made of heavy card, the Postcard is in EXCELLENT unused condition! Featuring the allied flag on the upper right hand corner, it has a section for writing the “to” and “from”, as well as a large blank space on the reverse to write the message. Some marks and wear due to the age on the reverse, but nothing that detracts. 2) The Stamp is a British WW1 poster type stamp, depicting the sinking of the Lusitania. Printed by David Allen & Sons Ltd., this stamp was made to help propagate the war effort, after the sinking of the Lusitania. It is named, “Take up the Sword of Justice”, and was an adaptation of a war poster of the same title.”. It is coming away slightly from the paper edges/border. It was issued in 1915/1916, and was never used. 3) Made of lightweight paper, the Coffee Ration Bag would have contained 100g of Ersatz Coffee. “Déjeuner des Alliés” is written on the front, and the color is still quite vibrant. It reads: Déjeuner des Alliés 75 Marque déposée Notre “75″, de qualité supérieure se prépare comme le café et le remplace avantageusement. D’un goût délicieux et d’un parfum
