Description
The M17 Elbow Telescope was used with the standard M1917 155mm Howitzer (the French-designed Canon de 155 C modèle 1917 Schneider), and M114. The telescope was used to aim the canon properly in various conditions.
Made of glass, brass, and steel, this item is in EXCELLENT used condition! There are some slight marks, scratches, and wear, but it is still VERY SOLID otherwise and retains 90% original finish! The optics are VERY NICE with no marks or haziness! Features an intact crosshair reticle, and all four selectable filters are still present and functional: RED CLEAR NEUTRAL & AMBER. This allows for accurate sighting during both the day and night. The focus on the eyepiece still functions correctly. Missing the original data plate, but otherwise complete. Would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display!
