Description
Made of brown leather, this helmet is in used condition! Dating between 1939 and 1944, it is constructed of 5 separate pieces of brown leather, with a 1″ wide brim at the front. The ear cups are sewn-on leather pockets, designed to fit the Gosport receiver, and the reverse features a leather strap to retain the pilot goggles. Features BOTH cloth labels, as well as the rear cloth section where the pilot could write his name. Missing some straps and buttons, as well as some loose stitching. Some wear and marks throughout, due to the age. Probably good for parts or restoration. Would make a FANTASTIC addition to any collection or display!
