WW II German WH Army – K98 RG34 CLEANING KIT – NORMANDY BARN FIND – RARE!

You are bidding on a VERY RARE example of a WW2 German Wehrmacht / Luftwaffe K98 Model RG34 Cleaning Kit!

After evolving from the Gew98 Rifle, the K98 rifle began production in 1934.  When it was issued, it, included various accessories, including a sling, cleaning rod, protective muzzle cap, and an RG34 cleaning kit.

Made of aluminum and steel, this cleaning kit case was manufactured in the earlier stages of the war. A recent Normandy Barn-Find, it is in VERY NICE used condition, though it has a few marks, scratches, wear, and obvious corrosion. Appears to be marked, “39”, though it is hard to tell in the images. Comes with the aluminum chain, 2 brushes, and steel oiler. Bottom cap is frozen shut from being outside (should be an easy fix). Would make a SUPERB addition to any collection or display!
