Description
The Revi C/12D was manufactured between 1939-1943, and was used until the end of the war. This gunsight entered production to specifically target the Supermarine Spitfire. The aiming reticle was made in such as way that a Spitfire would fit the aiming circle from edge to edge at 300m, and each increment marking represented 6 mils. This was the main sight the pilot or gunner used when sighting targets (aircraft or ground).
Made of aluminum, and steel, this is a SUPERB relic set! The aluminum one features some corrosion as you can see in the photos, but it still retains the rare handle. The other variant is complete, with almost NO corrosion. The part number is clearly stamped into the bottom, indicating, Fl. 52108-1. Winning bidder could combine these to make one good one. I do have other parts available as well. Would make a PERFECT addition to any collection, display, or simply as a conversation piece!
