You are bidding on an EXTREMELY RARE example of a 100% original WW2 German Wehrmacht / Luftwaffe Panzer Kasten Nr. 5c, as in various Tanks and Tank Destroyers!
The larger german tanks from the Panzer IV onwards had a standard junction fuse box to distribute the Radio System electrical wiring from hull to the turret.
It is used to connect the Kasten Pz. Nr 20 intercom box to the headphone and microphone jacks of the Commander and Gunner. The Kasten Pz. Nr. 5c must be very well grounded to reduce electrical interference from the system.
Used to allow communication between the Commander and Gunner, this amplifier is in EXCELLENT restored condition!! Though it has been re-painted, it is 100% FUNCTIONAL, and comes complete with the RARE electrical plug! All data labels are also present. Features all connections, with some slight marks, wear, and pitting, due to the age. I have shown its exact location in the Tiger and Panther turrets in the last photos. EASILY one of the most difficult pieces of radio equipemnt to find, it would be a PERFECT addition to any collection or restoration project!
Please email me if you need additional photos or information.

Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. All sales are final, so please make sure your questions are answered to your satisfaction before you purchase.
——————- ABOUT ME —————–
Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
