You are bidding on a SUPERB example of a WW2 German Kriegsmarine Communication Flag/Pennant”, as used by various Battleships, Destroyers, and Cruisers!  Removed from a captured German Ship in France, this was brought back by a US Veteran.


Made of a lightweight cotton/rayon, this flag is in AMAZING used condition.  It does feature slight wear, but has NO stains, holes, or rips!   This came from a US Veteran who remove it from a German Ship that was captured in France.  Featuring seven rising diagonal stripes alternating green and yellow, this is flag indicates the numeral “5”.  It is VERY large and measures approx. 18 FEET x 5 FEET in size.  Features manufacture and identifying ink stamps on the edge.  A BEAUTIFUL Flag, it would make for a FANTASTIC addition to any collection or display!
