The German Army and Navy used a wide variety of optical equipment, including a 6×30 (6 power magnification with 30mm objective lens), 7×50, 8×30, 10×50 and others, being the standard issued optics used by all branches of service. Though this type was the standard, specialized personnel required stinger optics, and were issues to personnel on a limited basis.
Made of aluminum, brass, and steel by Carl Zeiss Jena, these 7 x 50 power binoculars are in VERY NICE used condition! The lens bodies retain about 85% of their original, finish, and the aluminum end piece fittings are 100% intact! The focus adjustments still function perfectly on both eye pieces. Optics are VERY CLEAR and in PERFECT alignment! The right side is body marked:
The left side is marked with a prominent Kriegsmarine Adler, and a “T”, indicating that the optics are coated (though I do not see any coatings, which is normal, as they were not meant to last 80 years). Slight marks, dents, and paint loss throughout. The serviceman who brought them home scratched his initials and serial number into the side. Comes complete with a neck strap, but it is most likely a post-war replacement. A VERY NICE example, it would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display!

————— TERMS OF SALE ————–
Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. I will describe each auction to the best of my knowledge and take as many photos necessary to ensure you are pleased upon receiving your item. All sales are final, so please make sure your questions are answered to your satisfaction before you purchase.
——————– ABOUT ME —————–
Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
All pictures and descriptions used in my auctions under COPYRIGHT and I forbid the use of these photos and information in any manner such as paper or electronic (internet) publications or otherwise. Use is solely based on my authorization only.
