Description
The German Army and Navy used a wide variety of optical equipment, including a 6×30 (6 power magnification with 30mm objective lens), 7×50, 8×30, 10×50 and others, being the standard issued optics used by all branches of service. Though this type was the standard, specialized personnel required stinger optics, and were issues to personnel on a limited basis.
Made of aluminum and steel, by Carl Zeiss (blc), these late-war 10×50 power binoculars are in EXCELLENT used condition! The lens bodies retain about 95% of their original, finish, and the end piece fittings are 100% intact! The focus adjustments still function perfectly on both eye pieces. Optics are VERY clear, with NO spotting…but they are a slight bit foggy. The right side is body marked:
Dienstglas 10×50 1742683 blc + Comes complete with the original button tab and neck strap! A SUPERB example, it would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display!
