Description
Mounted on the main instrument panel, this clock needs no introduction. It was made famous throughout the war as one of the standard German Aircraft Cockpit Clocks. It was usually mounted on the front or side cockpit consoles and features an adjustable bezel.
Made of brass, aluminum, and wood, this Kienzle clock was made between 1931 and 1935. Though the crystal has yellowed slightly, it is a VERY NICE example and retains 95% of it’s original finish! 100% FUNCTIONAL, it has been recently serviced. There are some slight scratches and marks, but is in otherwise EXCELLENT condition and the hands still glow at night (must be charged with UV light). Would make a FANTASTIC addition to any collection, display, or restoration project!
