You are bidding on a VERY NICE example of a 100% ORIGINAL WW2 German Luftwaffe Führerkompass Lke 6 (Main Compass), Fl. 23226-1, as used in the Bu131, Bu133, He112, and other early aircraft!

 

This instrument indicated the current direction of the aircraft and pointed to magnetic north.  It was located on the main instrument panel.

Made of bakelite, brass, and aluminum, this instrument is in EXCELLENT condition!  It still retains most of it’s original fluid, and the data information is 100% complete, clearly indicating, Fl. 23226-1.  There are some light scratches and marks due to the age, but nothing that takes away from the overall appearance.  I have indicated it’s location in the last photos.  Would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display!
