Description
Made of nickel-plate brass, this Airfield Time Transfer Watch in VERY NICE used condition! Obtained directly from author Dr. Konrad Knirim, this EXACT type of clock is described on page 306 of his book, titled, “Military Timepieces”. It retains 95% of it’s original finish, with some light marks and scratches throughout from age, but nothing that take away from the overall appearance. The dial still glows at night (must be charged with UV light), however, some paint is missing from the dial, due to the age. Normally, this was stored in a wood case (see last images), however it is missing. 100% FUNCTIONAL, it features a BAL stamp on the inside cover. I have shown how it was used in the last image. Would make a FANTASTIC addition to any collection, panel re-build, or restoration project!
