You are bidding on a SUPERB example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe Fighter Award Plate! This was given out to special personnel of Jagdgeschwader 27 during the Christmas of 1943.
Made of painted, glazed, and fired ceramic, this is an AMAZING one of a kind item! It features the logos of the 4 main Gruppe (I, II, III, and IV). Has some very slight wear, but is in otherwise EXCELLENT condition for it’s age! “Kriegsweihnachten 1943” (Christmas 1943) is impressed into the top and bottom edges. Features 2 small holes so it could be hang on the wall. Only the 2nd one I have ever seen! Would make a PERFECT item for any collection or display!
