You are bidding on a SUPERB example of a 100% ORIGINAL WW2 German Panzerkampfwagen Armour Glass! This type of glass block acted as the main vision port in the Commander Cupola and Interior. Though it is similar to the smaller type used on most of the late-war tanks, I am not 100% sure which vehicle it is from.
Made of THICK glass and steel, this item is in SUPERB condition! There is some slight rust and corrosion, but it is still VERY solid! It retains a faint waffenamt and manufacture code indicating “hej” for Sicherheitglas G.m.b.H. of Kunzendorf. Though the glass has yellowed slightly, it is still EXCEPTIONALLY clear! Used in the vision ports on the hull sides and commanders’s cupola, I have indicated it’s location in the last photos. Measuring 15cm x 11.5cm, and 9.5cm deep, it is slightly taller than the other vision blocks I have on auction. I have indicated similar glass blocks in the last photos. Would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display!
Please note that as I have multiple quantities, the item you receive may look slightly different that the item depicted in the auction photos.
Please email me if you need additional photos or information.

——————- TERMS OF SALE —————– Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. All sales are final, so please make sure your questions are answered to your satisfaction before you purchase.
——————- ABOUT ME —————– Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft. If you are looking for anything specific and cannot locate it, feel free to contact me as I probably have it or at the very least, a contact who does!
