WW II German Army Nahkampfmesser – COMBAT BOOT KNIFE / TRENCH KNIFE – PUMA

 As bayonets were typically long and heavy, some soldiers ended up privately purchasing various styles of hunting knives.  Throughout WW2, numerous manufacturers produced these types of knives, available for both private purchase and military issue.

Made of bakelite and steel, this late-war Puma German Combat Fighting Knife is in EXCELLENT condition considering its age. The blade does show some marks, stains, and wear, and does have a slightly sharpened edge, but it does not detract. The scabbard is original to this knife, but it does feature some marks and wear. “PUMA” is clearly stamped into the blade, and it features their signature style handle.  Would make a SUPERB addition to any collection or display!
