You are bidding on a FANTASTIC and VERY RARE example of a WW2 German Wehrmacht 35th Panzer Regiment Coat Check Tag!  This belonged to the 6th Company.

The 35th Panzer
Regiment was formed on November 1, 1938 in Bamberg (Panzer Regiments 1 in Erfurt; 2 in Eisenach; 7 in Vaihingen; 25 in Erlangen and Panzerjäger Battalions 5 in Villingen; 9 in Celnhausen; and 25 in

On April 13, 1940, the 1st company was transferred
to Panzer-Abteilung 40 and replaced by the 3rd company. In the early summer of
1941, the two columns of the regiment were handed over to Division Supply
Leader 84delivered and formed in this the 13th and 14th large motor column. II./Panzer-Regiment
35 was taken out of the regiment in Bryansk in April 1942, transferred to
Oseipowitschi and on June 1st, 1942 assigned as III./Panzer-Regiment 15 to the
Panzer-Regiment 15 of the 11. Panzer-Division. The 5th Company was disbanded
and divided between the 1st and 2nd/35th Panzer Regiments. The 6th, 7th and 8th
companies of the 35th Panzer Regiment became the 7th, 8th and 9th/15th Panzer
Regiment. After that, the division was left with only the Regimental
Headquarters and the 1st Section. 

On May 24, 1943, the regimental headquarters
became the headquarters of Panzerjäger Regiment 656. On August 31, 1943, the
III. / Panzer Regiment 15 from the formation of the 11.Pz.Div. and thus from
the 15th Panzer Regiment. From September 1, 1943, this again became the
II./Panzer Regiment, transferred to Bamberg, on October 16, 1943 transferred to
France (Normandy), January 1944 to Sedan, April 1944 to the Military training
area Mailly le Camp until the end of May 1944. Shipped to Grafenwöhr and from
there in mid-June to Sokal/B. Lemberg to Pz.Rgt.35 as I./Pz.Rgt.35. 

The old 1st
Division became II./Pz.Rgt.35 On May 13, 1944, the 1st and 2nd Divisions
exchanged their names. In November 1944, the 7th company was disbanded and the
8th company was equipped with Jagdpanzer IV. 

In January 1945 the regiment was
evacuated from Kurland, but had to leave all its equipment behind. The I
Department was reorganized with Panthers and Jagdpanthers. In April 1945 the
regiment was disbanded, the remaining parts of the staff came to the supply
company of the 1st / Panzer Regiment 35.


Made of zinc, this dog tag dates around 1943-1945 and is in EXCELLENT relic condition.  There is some slight wear,  marks, however all information is clearly legible.  Information indicates:
