Description
Made of bakelite and steel, this German K98 Bayonet is in VERY NICE condition considering it’s age. Made in 1943 by ffc (Friedrich Abr. Herder un Sohn), there are some slight marks due to the age, but otherwise is in EXCELLENT condition! The blade does show some marks, stains, and wear, but has never been sharpened. The scabbard is original to this knife, but it does feature some marks and wear. Overall, there is some slight flash rust from storage, but that could easily be cleaned up. The knife features dark bakelite grips, and is marked:

The scabbard is original to this knife, and is 100% matching. Condition matches that of the knife, with some minor marks and scratches due to the age. It is marked:

There is a waffenampt on the finial, but it is too small for me to make out. Frog is original to this set, and features a clean RBn. Number, as well an EZGJ (ErZeugunGsJahr) 1943 date stamp. Would make a SUPERB addition to any collection or display
