Description
Throughout WW2, each soldier was issued with a small, portable, dry fuel tablet stove along with other provisions, for eating in the field. Also utilized were a field cutlery set, a mess kit, canteen, bread bag, and fat container. It came with dry hexamethylene tetramine fuel tablets that were carried in the stove when in the closed position. Made of lightweight steel, this stove is in EXCELLENT unused condition! Some slight marks, wear, and corrosion due to the age, but VERY solid otherwise! It opens as it should, to create the legs of the stove, and features a stamped logo and lettering, indicating:
“Esbit Kocher” “Hier Aufklappen!, “Mod.9”, “Ges. gesch.” Please email me if you need additional photos or information. |
