Description
You are bidding on a FANTASTIC example of a WW2 German Wehrmacht 8-day Duty Clock Leather Case! These were used in Panzer Division Radio Command Vehicles and Communication stations!
Made of leather, this case was manufactured in 1937. It is a SUPERB example, and EASILY one of the best ones I have ever seen of its type! Obtained directly from Dr. Konrad Knirim, this EXACT case is featured on page 407 of his book, titled, “Military Timepieces”. There are some slight scratches and marks due to the age, but nothing that detracts. Features a NICE Waffenamt on the side as well as an impressed date of 1937. Would make a FANTASTIC addition to any collection or display!
