Description
The Flak 30 (Flugzeugabwehrkanone 30) and improved Flak 38 were 20 mm anti-aircraft guns used by various German forces throughout World War II. It was not only the primary German light anti-aircraft gun but by far the most numerously produced German artillery piece throughout the war. It was produced in a variety of models, notably the Flakvierling 38 which combined four Flak 38 autocannons onto a single carriage.
Made of steel by “bxx” (Askania-Werke A.G., Berlin-Friedenau), this anti-aircraft aiming scope was manufactured between 1944 and 1945. It retains 98% of its original bare-metal finish with NO corrosion or damage! Some marks and wear, but nothing that detracts. The manufacture code and data information is stamped into the side, indicating:
bxx. 35092 Z.F. 3×8° Flak
Though I have not taken photos of the reticle, all optics are SUPERB, with only slight spots/dust particles!. It comes with the original mount/base, as well as the attachment plate for a light source. One of the NICEST I have ever seen of it’s type, it is an EXCELLENT scope that would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display!
Please email me if you need additional photos or information.
