You are bidding on a VERY NICE set of WW2 German Wehrmacht / Luftwaffe Dfh.a Kopfhörer Headphones! This specific type was used in ground stations for communication with Armoured Vehicles.
In pre-42 Panzer III/IVs (before the introduction of the intercom box 20), the radioman wore the Dfh.b headset. All other crew members wore the Dfh.d headsets, which were connected to intercom connection points (socket box units Z19 or Z20). Dfh.d headsets are easily identified by their small plugs with short stubby prongs. Externally, other than the plug and markings, they were identical to the Dfh.b, but internally they were totally different in their makeup. Because these headsets needed to serve a system that had no amplification, the resistance value is only 54 ohm whereas the Dfh.b is 2000 ohm.
Made of aluminum, steel, and bakelite, this Headset is in VERY NICE condition! It retains approx. 95% of their original paint and finish! Both earpieces retain their original markings and indicate:
All the original wiring also remains, as well as the plug. A FANTASTIC item for any collection or display!

——————- ABOUT ME —————–
Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
