Description
The German Army and Navy used a wide variety of optical equipment, including a 6×30 (6 power magnification with 30mm objective lens), 7×50, 8×30, 10×50 and others, being the standard issued optics used by all branches of service. Though this type was the standard, specialized personnel required stinger optics, and were issued to personnel on a limited basis. Made of brass and aluminum by bmk (Srb & Stys), these 6 x 30 power binoculars are in SUEPRB used condition! The lens bodies retain about 90% of their original paint and finish, as well as the faux-leather covering! End piece fittings are 100% intact! The focus adjustments still function, and the image is VERY CLEAR! Optical alignment is also perfect! The right side body is marked Dienstglas (Service Binoculars), 6×30, along with the serial number, “117105“. Though not marked “H/6400“, they do have a ranging scale, which can be seen in the photos. Left side is blank. As they are in used condition, there are some slight marks and scratches throughout. The AMAZING feature is that they have a overpaint of ORIGINAL Dunkelgrau Camouflage paint! Neck strap is also ORIGINAL to this set. A VERY NICE example, it would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display! |
