Description
This instrument measured the turn angle and side-slip of the aircraft, relayed the current horizon. It was connected to the main electrics (Umformer) and was located on the main instrument panel on many German fighters.
Made of aluminum, bakelite, and steel, this horizon dates around 1945, and would have been used right up until the end of the war. The dial still glows when UV light is applied, however the original electrical cord/plug is missing. Locking mechanism works, but has some cracks. Would make a FANTASTIC addition to any collection, restoration project, or panel re-build!
