WW II German Aircraft Starterschalter – STARTER PULL SWITCH – Me262 Fw190 *

Description

You are bidding on a VERY NICE example of WW2 German Luftwaffe Elek. Starterschalter (Electrical Starter Switch), Fl. 21212-1, SSH 52/1Z, used in the Me262, Fw190, Ar234, Fi-156 and other German aircraft!

This pull handle was produced around 1942-1945.  It was the main switch which engaged the engine for start-up, and was usually located on the right side console of the aircraft.

Made of aluminum and steel by Bosch, this instrument is in EXCELLENT used condition.  This version was specifically designed for aircraft which had an electrical starter (late war aircraft, jets, etc.).  There are some marks and wear due to the age, but nothing that detracts.  The Fl. number 21212-1 is clearly stamped into the top.  I have indicated it’s location in the Fw190 and Me262 cockpits.  Would make an PERFECT addition to any collection or display!

Please email me if you need additional photos or information.

——————- TERMS OF SALE —————–

Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. I will describe each auction to the best of my knowledge and take as many photos necessary to ensure you are pleased upon receiving your item. All sales are final, so please make sure your questions are answered to your satisfaction before you purchase.

——————- ABOUT ME —————–

Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
