WW II German Aircraft Starterschalter – MECHANICAL STARTER SWITCH – Me109 – RARE

 You are bidding on an AMAZING and VERY RARE example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe Starterschalter / Anlassschalter (Starter Switch), Fl. 21211, SSH 51/1Z, as ONLY used in the German Me109 Fighter aircraft!

This switch produced around 1944-1945.  It was the main switch which engaged the engine for start-up, and was usually located on the right side console of the aircraft or main panel.

Made by Bosch, this aluminum and steel, this mechanical starter switch is in EXCELLENT unused condition!  Unlike the reproductions that are coming out of the Czech Republic, this one is 100% ORIGINAL.  It was specifically designed for aircraft which had a manual starter.  There is NO corrosion or damage as you can see in the photos, however, there is some stains from storage.  The l. Part Number is easy to read, indicating Fl. 21211.  A VERY RARE item for any collection, display, or restoration project!
