WW II German Aircraft Spindelbremse – TRIM JACK BRAKE / COVER – Me109 E-K – RARE

You are bidding on an SUPERB example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe Spindelbremse (Trim Jack Brake/Cover), 109.411-38H01, as used ONLY in the later Me109 -K series fighter aircraft! 

 Installed on top of the Trim Jack Assembly for the Horizontal Stabilizer, this steel cover acted as a brake as well as a protective cover for the gears.

Made of steel, this an EXTREMELY RARE Me109 Trim Jack Brake/Cover! Though it has some slight dirt and pitting from storage, it remains in AMAZING condition, and was manufactured between 1944 and 1945. No damage, so it could easily be cleaned up to be used in an airworthy project. I have indicated its location in the Me109 in the last photo. A PERFECT addition to any collection, display, or restoration project!
