The Revi C/12D was manufactured between 1939-1943, and was used until the end of the war. This gunsight entered production to specifically target the Supermarine Spitfire. The aiming reticle was made in such as way that a Spitfire would fit the aiming circle from edge to edge at 300m, and each increment marking represented 6 mils. This was the main sight the pilot or gunner used when sighting targets (aircraft or ground).
Made of aluminum, bakelite, and steel and dating around 1943, this is an AMAZING example. It is in BEAUTIFUL condition and retains 98% of it’s original finish with no damage or corrosion! The cord is still 100% intact and it is fully functional! Complete with the original bulb, the data plate is also 100% intact, and clearly indicates Revi C/12D, Fl. 52095. The crash pad is PERFECT, with no tears, cracks, or wear! EASILY the BEST examples I have seen, it comes complete in the original box. The box was originally issued to a Revi C/12C, but was changed to a store a C/12D sometime during the war. The Mounting Plate is also included. Would make a PERFECT addition to any collection, display, or simply as a conversation piece!

——————- TERMS OF SALE —————–
Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. I will describe each auction to the best of my knowledge and take as many photos necessary to ensure you are pleased upon receiving your item. All sales are final, so please make sure your questions are answered to your satisfaction before you purchase.
——————- ABOUT ME —————–
Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
