Description
Used to calculate the lead angle for bomb dropping, the Navi 3 was manufactured between 1944-1945, and was used until the end of the war. Used in conjunction with a stopwatch, it was mounted into the nose of the Ju88 and Si204 Made of aluminum, bakelite, and steel and dating around 1944, this is an VERY NICE used example. It retains 95% of it’s original finish with no damage or corrosion! As it came from a downed aircraft, the glass has broken away, and the cord was cut when it was removed (both are easy replacements). Complete with the original bulb, the data plate is also 100% intact, and clearly indicates Navi 3, Fl. 52480. All adjustment function correctly, and the crosshair is 100% INTACT! The mount for the stopwatch is misisn, but those come up on auction every once in a while. Original calculation table is also included. One of the few examples I have seen, it would make a PERFECT addition to any collection, display, or simply as a conversation piece! Please email me if you need additional photos or information. ——————- PAYMENT —————– Payment should be made within 7 business days at the end of the auction unless buyer contacts me for other arrangements. I will describe each auction to the best of my knowledge and take as many photos necessary to ensure you are pleased upon receiving your item. All sales are final, so please make sure your questions are answered to your satisfaction before you purchase. ——————- ABOUT ME —————– Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft. ——————- COPYRIGHT —————– |
