WW II German Aircraft Horizont – TRAINING HORIZON – Fl. 22426 – Me110 Ju88 He111

1 in stock

You are bidding on a SUPERB example of 100% ORIGINAL WW2 German Luftwaffe Pneumatic Horizont (Turning Horizon), Fl. 22426.  This type of horizon was commonly used in the Me110, Ju88, He111, He177 and others!

This instrument measured the turn angle of the aircraft.  It was connected to the main air pressure system and was located on the main instrument panel on many German aircraft.

Made of aluminum and steel, this horizon dates around 1943, and would have been used right up until the end of the war.  95% of the original finish remains, and there are no dents or damage!  This si the training/demonstration model, and as such, has a hole cut into the top and bottom.  The dial still glows when UV light is applied.   I have indicated it’s location in the last photos.  One of the nicest I have seen of this type, this would make a FANTASTIC addition to any collection, restoration project, or panel re-build!

——————- TERMS OF SALE —————–

Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. All sales are final, so please make sure your questions are answered to your satisfaction before you purchase.

——————- ABOUT ME —————–

Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
