WW II German Aircraft Dreieckrechner Plath DR3 Tp – FLIGHT CALCULATOR – RARE!

1 in stock

You are bidding on a VERY RARE example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe Dreieckrechner DR3 Tp (Navigation Computer), Fl. 23825-1, used in almost every German aircraft throughout the war such as the Me109, Fw190, Me262, He-111, Ju-88, Ju-87, Do-217, and others.

This is the 2nd model type of the navigation computer, produced in 1943.  It allowed the pilot or navigator to correctly calculate the aircraft’s flight path using outside air temperature, path, speed, and current climb/decent.

Made of plastic, this Dreieckrechner is in EXCELLENT condition for it’s age.  It is 100% complete, and clearly indicates the the Fl. 23825-1 and manufacture date of July 1943.  There is no damage or corrosion, and it is 100% functional!  Some marks, wear, and scratches due to the age.  This is the EARLY variant of the DR3, being made of clear plastic, as opposed to yellow.  Would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display!

Please email me if you need additional photos or information.

——————- TERMS OF SALE —————–

Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. All sales are final, so please make sure your questions are answered to your satisfaction before you purchase.

——————- ABOUT ME —————–

Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
