You are bidding on a SUPERB and VERY RARE example of a WW2 German Luftwaffe Dreieckrechner DR3 Tp (Navigation Computer), Fl. 23825, used in almost every German aircraft throughout the war such as the Me109, Fw190, Me262, He-111, Ju-88, Ju-87, Do-217, and others.
This is the RARE 3rd model type of the navigation computer, produced in 1944. It allowed the pilot or navigator to correctly calculate the aircraft’s flight path using outside air temperature, path, speed, and current climb/descent. Similar to the yellow oil cloth maps that are printed in a YELLOW tint for night flying and low light visibility, this flight computer was also produced for this specific reason.
Made of plastic and metal, this Dreieckrechner is in EXCELLENT condition for it’s age. It is 100% complete, and clearly indicates Fl. 23825 and manufacture date of April 1943. Though it is 100% complete and FULLY functional, there are some marks and wear…as well as a chip (see photo). It is 100% functional and retains 98% of it’s original finish! Would make a PERFECT addition to any collection or display!
Please email me if you need additional photos or information.

——————- TERMS OF SALE —————–
Most of my items are vintage, and as such are AS-IS, so you must therefore expect a degree of wear due to age and/or usage. I will describe each auction to the best of my knowledge and take as many photos necessary to ensure you are pleased upon receiving your item. All sales are final, so please make sure your questions are answered to your satisfaction before you purchase.
——————- ABOUT ME —————–
Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
